Marathon’s new PvE experiment is Bungie’s most genius decision yet, so make it a full mode already

Players can now access the new content from Marathon's Season 2 update after initial server issues. The update features a nighttime Dire Marsh map, which has limited visibility and requires players to use torches and gadgets. The experimental Sponsored Survival mode is a key highlight, available from June 2 to June 9, allowing players to explore the map without immediate threats from other players, aside from UESC bots. Solo Rook players will gradually join the match, increasing competition for loot. Interactions with Rooks are infrequent, leading to mostly non-violent encounters. This mode aims to provide a PvE experience while maintaining PvP elements. A full PvE mode is anticipated to debut later in Season 2.

The next Call of Duty is Modern Warfare 4, Infinity Ward’s first game in 4 years

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era teases a roguelike mode as it hits 1 million sales

Dawn of War 4 just got a release date (or 2), a DLC roadmap, and Crusade Mode plans

Dawn of War 4 is set to be released on September 17, with early access for the Commander Edition available on September 14. The Commander Edition includes advanced access and additional downloadable content, such as a story prologue, a campaign expansion, and a new faction. The Blood Ravens Story Prologue follows a Blood Ravens strike force returning to their homeworld of Aurelia. The expansion will introduce a new faction and campaign, along with new commanders and features in the Crusade Mode. Free updates will include new modes, map packs, and a Mission Editor for custom battles. Both editions will have a 10% preorder discount, but specific pricing details are not yet available.
