New York Has a Gamer Mayor Now — and a $2.6 Billion Game Industry to Match

In June, New York City celebrated the NYC Battle of the Boroughs Champions at a press conference on June 10, recognizing the winners of the 2026 Minecraft Education Battle of the Boroughs. Among the winners was Team Hyper Pigmentation, an all-girl squad that won back-to-back titles. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Is Coming To PC On January 30th – Latest Updates

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released on PlayStation 5 on October 20, 2023. It is set to launch on PC platforms on January 30, 2025, available through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC version will be developed by Nixxes Software and will include all updates and enhancements from the PS5 edition, such as new suits, a New Game+ mode, increased difficulty levels, new styles for the Symbiote suit, options to modify the time of day, and additional post-story challenges. The game was part of Sony's strategy to bring more PlayStation exclusives to PC. Pre-order bonuses included early access to specific suits and gadgets, and various editions were available at launch, including a Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming To PC In 2025, Leaked DLC Is Cancelled – Gameranx

Insomniac's community manager, Aaron Jason Espinoza, confirmed the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC on January 30, 2025, available on Steam and the Epic Game Store. Two editions will be offered: the Standard Edition, which includes all free updates from the PlayStation 5, and the Digital Deluxe Edition, which features early unlocks, five extra skill points, enhanced photo mode features, and five exclusive suits. There will be no additional story content for the PC version, but previously released post-launch content, including New Game+ and new suits, will be included. Insomniac recently experienced a ransomware attack that compromised sensitive information, leading to the cancellation of a previously leaked DLC roadmap. The game had a budget of 5 million and sold over 11 million units by April 2024, including 2.5 million units in the first 24 hours. Insomniac has also faced layoffs, which were leaked before official announcements.
