GTA Online has transformed into a social hub with diverse subcultures, raising questions about the future of Online 2.0, including content moderation, creator ownership, and the relationship between the new and original versions. Rockstar's acquisition of FiveM indicates a shift towards a community-driven approach, potentially adopting a model similar to Fortnite with a creator economy and live events. The next iteration of GTA Online will face a different environment compared to its predecessor, and the release of GTA 6's first single-player installment in nearly 15 years may provide a distraction during this transitional period.

Google Photos may have a new trick to make your pictures look dramatically different

Google Photos is set to introduce a new feature called Moods in version 7.81 of the app, which utilizes artificial intelligence for photo editing. Moods offers eight distinct templates: Airy Minimalist, Crisp 35mm, 2000’s Cinema, Rich Textures, Pink Digicam, Retro Contrast, Night Lights, and 2000’s Night, each designed to evoke specific visual styles. The feature aims to provide a more personalized editing experience by analyzing images individually rather than applying uniform filters. Although Moods is not yet operational, it represents a shift towards a more AI-driven editing experience in Google Photos. An APK teardown indicates potential features, but there is no guarantee they will be publicly released.

Players can choose to play as two characters: Alice, a Camarilla Ventrue, and Lenz, a Thinblood punk rocker. Alice's gameplay involves reshaping Berlin through her disciplines—Dominate, Presence, and Fortitude—while Lenz focuses on alchemical skills. The game features an evolving map influenced by player actions and introduces mechanics related to Thinblood Alchemy. It emphasizes political intrigue among factions and is scheduled for release in 2026.
