Mojang has introduced a new update for Minecraft called The Garden Awakens, featuring a unique biome known as the pale garden. This biome includes pale oak wood and resin, which can be used to craft various items. Players will encounter a new hostile mob called the creaking, which is tree-like and adds surprise to explorations. The creaking heart block generates pale oaks and controls the creakings at night. The pale garden also offers decorative elements like eyeblossoms, which close during the day and reveal an orange center at night, and pale moss, which includes carpet and hanging moss. Players can create a comprehensive set of items from pale oak trees, including boats, fences, and doors. Resin can be harvested from pale oak trees and crafted into bricks and blocks.

The latest winter update for Minecraft has introduced a new resource called Resin, which can be crafted into Resin bricks, blocks, and unique armor patterns. To make Resin bricks, players must gather Resin clumps from the Pale Garden biome at night by defeating the Creaking monster, which leads them to Pale Oak trees with resin clumps. Players can then craft Resin bricks by placing the clumps in a furnace with a fuel source. Alternatively, Resin bricks can be found in Woodland Mansions, with a 44% chance in the Java edition and 16% in the Bedrock edition. Resin bricks can be used to craft Resin brick blocks by arranging four bricks in a 2x2 grid on a Crafting Table, and they can also be used as a Smithing ingredient to create armor with an orange pattern.

The Pale Garden biome in Minecraft features white, pale oak trees with hanging moss and a somber atmosphere. It introduces a new enemy called the Creaking, which camouflages itself as an oak tree and becomes aggressive when players look away. Traditional combat methods are ineffective against the Creaking; players must instead destroy the Creaking heart, which can be located by following particles emitted when the Creaking is struck. To find the Pale Garden biome, players can duplicate their world, enable cheats, use the command /locate biome pale_garden to get coordinates, and teleport to the location.
