The Creaking, also known as the Weeping Angels, was introduced in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4 with the Tricky Trials update. It is the first asymmetrical entity in the game, capable of stalking players and immune to all damage except through its heart, which can be found in trees in the Pale Garden biome. The Creaking only moves when players look away, similar to the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. It spawns at night or during thunderstorms and remains dormant within a 12-block radius of a player. To defeat the Creaking, players must locate and destroy its heart, which leaves an orange trail if the Creaking is engaged. Destroying the heart yields resin clumps, while attacking the Creaking can also drop resin clumps nearby. Players can use a Silk Touch tool to mine the heart intact for decorative use, but caution is needed to avoid spawning another Creaking.

Mushrooms in Minecraft can be found in various locations and can be harvested using any tool. Mining a large mushroom block yields up to two mushrooms of the same color, and mushrooms thrive in dimly lit areas with specific spawn rates: a 12.5% chance for red mushrooms and a 25% chance for brown mushrooms. They can grow on nearly any block type and are abundant in swampy regions, mushroom fields, old growth taiga biomes, and the Nether. In a witch's hut, mushrooms can be found in flower pots, and in the Bedrock version, they can appear on fallen trees. Shearing a Mooshroom cow yields five mushrooms, transforming it into a standard cow. Mushrooms can be purchased from the Wandering Trader for one emerald each. Players can plant mushrooms on almost any block except slabs and stairs, and they can grow into large mushrooms with bonemeal under specific conditions. Mushrooms can spread to nearby blocks if there are fewer than five in the area. They are used in various recipes, including Mushroom Stew, Rabbit Stew, Suspicious Stew, and Fermented Spider Eye, which is used for potion brewing.

Mojang has introduced a new update for Minecraft called The Garden Awakens, featuring a unique biome known as the pale garden. This biome includes pale oak wood and resin, which can be used to craft various items. Players will encounter a new hostile mob called the creaking, which is tree-like and adds surprise to explorations. The creaking heart block generates pale oaks and controls the creakings at night. The pale garden also offers decorative elements like eyeblossoms, which close during the day and reveal an orange center at night, and pale moss, which includes carpet and hanging moss. Players can create a comprehensive set of items from pale oak trees, including boats, fences, and doors. Resin can be harvested from pale oak trees and crafted into bricks and blocks.
