YouTube is testing a revamped user interface (UI) for its Video Player, featuring several notable modifications: - The video title is now prominently displayed above the progress bar. - Channel information, including the channel icon and subscriber count, is located next to the channel name. - The view count and publication date are shown below the title. - The expand button is repositioned to the top left corner, with a new rotate button and a second playlist button above the progress bar. - In fullscreen mode, the forward and backward buttons are hidden and appear only when the video is paused in portrait mode. - Interaction buttons (like, dislike, comment, share) have been moved above the progress bar on the right side. - The bookmark feature is now under a menu, and a new Remix button is displayed by default. - A button for video chapters has been added to the bottom left of the screen. - Users can swipe up and down to navigate between videos in a playlist; swiping down to minimize a video is possible only if it’s the first video in the playlist. User feedback suggests a preference for a more streamlined design, and the final version of these features is expected to roll out soon.

A Samsung community moderator has acknowledged these limitations and confirmed that the current version lacks Dual Messenger functionality. The development team is exploring the addition of this support, but no specific timeline for the update has been provided. Users are looking forward to enhancements that will improve the integration of these features for a better messaging experience.
