Hasbro is working with Saber Interactive on a ‘tentpole’ IP using Space Marine 2’s swarm tech

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has been successful for Games Workshop and Saber Interactive. Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks announced that Hasbro is collaborating with Saber on a new title based on one of its intellectual properties. Other video game tie-ins in development include a new Dungeons and Dragons game, a GI Joe game, and an Exodus game. The last Transformers game attempt was canceled in January. There is speculation that the new title could be an adaptation of the board game Risk, with a prediction that it may debut on PC in autumn 2029.

Free-to-play online action game Star Wars: Hunters, inspired by Overwatch, will be released on PC in January 2025

Star Wars: Hunters is a PvP action game inspired by Overwatch, released in spring for Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, with a PC version coming soon. Beta testing is scheduled for December 13 to 16, followed by another round from January 10 to 13, leading to an early access launch on January 27. The game features 4-on-4 online battles with a roster of heroes from the Star Wars universe, and developers plan regular updates with new characters and maps. It is a free-to-play game.
