Vincent Flibustier's viral photo sparked an online frenzy after he posted an altered, AI-generated photo claiming to be a Crowdstrike employee responsible for a global IT outage. The photo quickly gained nearly 4 lakh likes and was shared by over 36,000 users. However, Vincent is actually a satirical writer running a parody news site. The global IT outage was caused by a faulty update to an anti-virus program 'Falcon Sensor' by CrowdStrike, resulting in widespread tech outages for companies using Microsoft's Windows operating system.
