9 Kings is an early access game where players defend their kingdom using cards to strategically place units and buildings against aggressive monarchs. Upgrading units and buildings is done by overlaying cards, and spells can provide new abilities. Players can acquire cards from various themes during battles, allowing for diverse builds. The King is Watching features grid-based gameplay and kingdom defense but lacks the fluidity of 9 Kings, requiring significant time investment for resource grinding. It introduces a mechanic where players must keep their gaze on buildings for them to function, adding tension and strategy. Drop Duchy reimagines Tetris as a kingdom-building roguelike deckbuilder, where players use tetrominos generated from cards to construct their kingdoms. Building prerequisites depend on surrounding tetrominos, and completing lines rewards players with resource bonuses. These three games showcase diversity within the deckbuilding genre, each offering a unique experience while sharing foundational elements.

Microsoft is testing a redesigned Start menu for Windows 11 that includes new layouts for the app list, such as a grid and category view. Users will not be able to create personalized category types, as Windows 11 will determine app categorization, potentially leading to an 'Other' section for apps that do not fit defined categories. Users cannot move apps between categories, which limits customization. The Start menu is still in testing, and there is hope for future enhancements, including drag-and-drop functionality, in the upcoming Windows 11 25H2 update.

Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 in October 2025, which means no more free security updates or fixes. Users continuing with Windows 10 after this date will face increased risks of malware and viruses. While third-party antivirus applications can offer some protection, they cannot replace the need for operating system updates. Business customers can purchase extended security updates for up to three years, starting at 0 for the first year per machine, potentially reaching ,820 by the end of the third year. Individual consumers can extend protection for Windows 10 Home systems for an additional year by paying 7, but the availability of further extensions for home users remains unclear.
