Looks like OnePlus phones and smartwatches are experiencing some bad weather

Many OnePlus smartphone and smartwatch users are experiencing issues with the native weather application, which is displaying outdated or no weather data. Some users in Europe and India have noted that their weather app is still functioning, suggesting the issue may be device or region-specific. The problems may be linked to Oxygen OS 16, but users on older versions (Oxygen OS 15 and 14) are also facing similar issues. Additionally, OnePlus Watch 3 users are encountering errors like "location not found" and "network error." Despite attempts to resolve the issues through various troubleshooting methods, users have had no success. The built-in weather app is critical for many users, and the ongoing issues are likely to prompt a software update or server fix from OnePlus.

You can now clone almost any app in Oxygen OS, no workaround necessary

The App Cloner feature in OnePlus’ Oxygen OS has expanded with the release of Oxygen OS 14.1, allowing users to clone a wider range of applications beyond the previously limited selection of social media and messaging apps. The update includes a new option in the Settings app under App Cloner, which lists installed applications that can be cloned, although some may not function properly due to adaptation issues. Previously, users could only clone a few apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, often resorting to third-party solutions or complex commands for additional apps. The new update reduces the need for these workarounds, although certain apps, such as Discord, are still not available for cloning. The introduction of the Private Space feature in Android 15 may further improve app cloning capabilities.
