How to get to Putrified Ducts in Hollow Knight Silksong

Putrified Ducts is an optional area in Silksong located in the top right corner of the map, offering valuable tools beneficial for exploring Bilewater's swamps. There are two routes to reach it: through Bilewater or Memorium. The Bilewater route requires defeating the boss Groal and is challenging without the Wreath of Purity, which neutralizes maggots in Bilewater. The Memorium route is recommended and requires the Clawline and Faydown Cloak, allowing access to hidden paths. In Putrified Ducts, players can find the Wreath of Purity, the Apostate Key, and a haven for Silksong fleas. The final Pale Oil needed to upgrade Hornet's needle can be collected from Fleatopia in Act 3.

All Hollow Knight Silksong Pollip locations

Players in Hollow Knight: Silksong collect Pollip Hearts, which are vital for enhancing combat capabilities. These purple flowers are located throughout the Shellwood area and can be identified by their petals. To gather Pollip Hearts, players must first speak to Greyroot in Shellwood. Pollip locations: 1. Below the Sister Splinter boss room, accessed by bouncing off flowers. 2. Behind a wasp nest east of the Wall Jump ability area, requiring wall jumps and defeating wasps. 3. In the northwestern corner of Shellwood, below the Wall Jump area, reachable by gliding. 4. Southeast of Shellwood's central bench, accessed by wall jumping from an elevated platform. 5. Via an alternate route from the bell tunnels, breaking through a false wall to find the Pollip in a secret cave. 6. Requires backtracking from Greyroot's dwelling, using the Silksong Dash ability to reach the ledge. After collecting all six Pollips, players return to Greyroot to receive the Pollip Pouch, which enhances their Needle with venom for increased damage. Additionally, players should collect Silksong Pale Oil for further weapon upgrades.

How to unlock Hollow Knight Silksong Act 3

To reach Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong, players must complete the following tasks: 1. Complete all wishes from the wishboards in Bone Bottom, Bellport, and Songclave. 2. Build the Bellhart house. 3. Rescue at least half of the fleas and send the caravan to the Pale Lake safe haven. 4. Bring the Cogheart pieces to Sentinel in Cogwork Core and complete its quest. After fulfilling these requirements, players should approach the Caretaker near the Act 2 final boss room to access Act 3. This involves using the Clawline on the door mechanism in the eastern section of Deep Docks.

All Hollow Knight Silksong Pale Oil locations

Hornet can find Pale Oil in three locations in Silksong. 1. Whispering Vaults: The first Pale Oil is located in the Cogwork Core, accessible after defeating the Cogwork Dancers. Players must navigate through the Cogwork Core to reach the Whispering Vaults, where they can solve a box puzzle to obtain the oil. 2. Choral Chambers: The second Pale Oil is obtained from Loyal Mergwin in the Choral Chambers after completing the wish "The Great Taste of Pharloom." This involves several tasks, including retrieving items from various locations and delivering them to Mergwin. 3. Putrified Ducts: The third Pale Oil is acquired after completing the wishes "Lost Fleas" and "Ecstasy of the End" during Act 3. Players must participate in the Flea Festival and excel in three minigames to break a piñata that contains the Pale Oil.
