Owlcat Games is set to release a new title, Osiris Reborn, inspired by the Mass Effect series, with its main theme composed by Paweł Perepelica. The game can be wishlisted on Steam, and various "founder pack" preorder options are available on Owlcat's website. The studio is also expanding its portfolio with a publishing arm that will release Rue Valley, reminiscent of Disco Elysium, and is developing Dark Heresy in the Warhammer 40K universe while supporting Rogue Trader.

Digital Extremes announced a collaboration with Paizo to develop a one-shot adventure themed around 1999 for Starfinder, titled Operation Orias, which is now available. The adventure allows players to embody four Protoframes—Amir, Aoi, Arthur, and Lettie—each with unique playstyles, to thwart the Corpus' plans involving Infested Chargers. Operation Orias features fast-paced gameplay and encourages creativity in character creation. The adventure is priced at .99 for a physical copy and .99 for a PDF, with physical editions limited to 2,000 prints. A seven-piece Warframe-themed dice set is also available for .99.

Cyprus-based Owlcat Games has launched the GameDev Learning Drop, a free directory of resources for game developers, in collaboration with several game studios and publishers, including Midwest Games, Fireshine Games, Gaijin Entertainment, and 11 Bit Studios. The initiative features over 350 curated learning resources covering topics like game design, programming, narrative design, and project management. The project originated from Owlcat's internal practice of sharing valuable resources among team members. The GameDev Learning Drop is intended to be a continuously updated resource, allowing other developers and publishers to contribute materials for review and inclusion.

Owlcat Games, known for titles like Wrath of the Righteous and Kingmaker, has shifted its focus to the Warhammer 40k universe, with the release of Rogue Trader in 2023 and another title, Dark Heresy, in development. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, released in 2021, received favorable reviews with an 83 on Metacritic and 82% on Steam. Executive producer Anatoly Shestov expressed that there is internal interest in returning to Pathfinder, noting that many team members are eager to explore new stories or evolve existing ones. While he acknowledged the possibility of a new Pathfinder game, he did not make any promises.
