Copper items, such as the copper chest and copper golem, change from a bright orange hue to a turquoise patina as they oxidize. Once fully oxidized, a copper golem becomes a statue that can strike four poses, allowing players to choose between an animated golem or a stationary figure. Players can revive the golem by scraping off the patina with an axe or can apply wax to prevent further oxidation. The copper statues also interact with redstone mechanics, emitting distinct signals when connected to a redstone comparator, enhancing gameplay and design possibilities.
