An open beta for Battlefield 6 is confirmed to start on August 7, with access periods as follows:
- August 7-8: Limited access for players with a code obtained by watching select streamers or being part of Battlefield Labs.
- August 9-10: Open to everyone.
- August 14-17: Open to everyone.
Preloading begins on August 4. The minimum PC requirements include a GPU of Nvidia RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, and 16GB of RAM. Recommended specs include a GPU of Nvidia RTX 3060Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, and 16GB of RAM.
The beta will feature maps such as Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, and Iberian Offensive, with modes including Conquest, Breakthrough, and Domination. The second weekend will introduce the Empire State map and modes like Rush and Squad Deathmatch. Progress made during the beta will not transfer to the full game, but players will receive rewards that carry over. The game is expected to launch on October 10.
