2XKO adds Vi, PC closed beta begins September 9

Vi, the Piltover Enforcer, will be a playable character in the upcoming free-to-play tag fighting game, 2XKO, inspired by League of Legends. A closed beta test for PC users will start on September 9, with sign-ups available through a designated link. The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2025.

Ready or Not has sold 1 million units on console, 10 times faster than what was achieved on PC, proving that the ‘censorship’ was worth it

Free Steam RPG Is Only Available for 5 Days Before It’s Gone Forever

A free RPG, Seraph: In the Darkness, will be removed from Steam on July 24, leaving PC users with a limited time to claim it for free. The game, launched on March 6, has received a “Mixed” rating on Steam based on 739 user reviews and is speculated to be exiting the marketplace due to financial challenges. The developer, Seraph Studio, and publisher, Cherry Credits, have not provided reasons for the shutdown or information on refunds, offline mode, or the future of the game. Update 2.3 Patch Notes

Update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released tomorrow for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a later release for Nintendo Switch 2. The update introduces four new vehicles, the AutoDrive feature for self-driving Delamain cabs, and enhancements to CrystalCoat™ and Photo Mode. It also adds support for AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR10+ Gaming on PC. Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on Mac with Apple silicon, purchasable via the Mac App Store and other PC storefronts, with existing owners able to transition to compatible devices. The new vehicles include: - Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, unlocked through a new side job after completing The Hunt and The Beast In Me. - Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred," obtainable by completing side jobs including The Beast in Me: Badlands. - Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa, available after purchasing a Yaiba vehicle and completing specific tasks. - Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila, purchasable through AUTOFIXER. AutoDrive allows players to relax while their vehicles navigate, with self-driving Delamain cabs available after completing the job Don't Lose Your Mind. Photo Mode enhancements include 27 new NPCs, outfit switching options, new Look-At Camera features, and additional stickers and frames. Quality of life improvements include automatic adjustments for inverted mouse settings and enhanced accessibility options for aiming controls. Gameplay fixes address various mission issues and improve overall performance. PC users will see enhanced graphics with AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 and Intel XeSS 2.0, while console players benefit from Variable Refresh Rate support and fixes for foliage interactions with weather conditions.

Xbox PC app can now stream 250+ games beyond the Game Pass library

Microsoft is enhancing the Xbox PC app with a new feature called “Stream your own game,” allowing Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream over 250 console games directly to their PCs without installation. This feature expands the library of supported games from 50 to over 250, including titles like Baldur’s Gate 3, Star Wars Outlaws, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy. The games run on Microsoft’s cloud servers, conserving installation time and storage space on PCs. To use this feature, users need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and digital copies of the games; physical discs are not supported. Participation in the Xbox Insider program and registration for the PC Gaming Preview is also required. Currently, the feature is available in 28 countries, with plans to remove the Insider restriction and broaden game selection in the future.

Microsoft Confirms New Upgrade Deadlines—‘Move To Windows 11’

Approximately 700 million PC users are currently using Windows 10, which is set to end support in October. Microsoft has extended support for Windows 10 by 12 months but warns that using an unsupported operating system may lead to performance issues. Microsoft 365 users can continue to use applications like Word after the end of support, but they are encouraged to transition to Windows 11. Security updates for Microsoft 365 Apps on Windows 10 will be provided for three years after support ends, until October 2028. Feature updates for Microsoft 365 on Windows 10 will cease by specific deadlines: August 2026 for Current Channel, October 13, 2026 for Monthly Enterprise Channel, and January 12, 2027 for Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel. Between 240 and 400 million PCs are not eligible for the upgrade to Windows 11, necessitating solutions for maintaining security for these users.

Windows 11 KB5062553 install fails, issues cause Firewall error (July 2025 Update)

Windows 11 users are experiencing installation failures with the mandatory security update KB5062553, encountering error codes such as 0x8007371b, 0x800f0991, 0x80073712, and 0x80071a2d. The update, part of version 24H2, is supposed to install automatically but has left some users with a pending installation status. A suggested solution for installation failures is to use the .msu offline installer from the Microsoft Update Catalog, which has a 70% success rate.
