YouTube keep freezing on your Galaxy phone? It’s not just you

This problem occurs when users navigate away from the app and then return, causing the video to freeze while the audio continues. The issue is intermittent and has been reported by multiple users, particularly on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, but also on the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Despite numerous complaints, Samsung has not publicly addressed the issue or provided potential fixes.

Morphe v1.32.0 brings back a heavily missed YouTube feature
