Open-World Survival Game with Over 80K Wishlists Just Got Its PC Release Date (And It’s Soon)

Delverium, an indie sandbox survival game from Sagestone Games, is set to enter Early Access on PC via Steam on September 22nd. The game has over 80,000 wishlists and features pixel graphics, open-world survival, and farming simulations. Players can explore a vast pixel-art world, engage in activities like fighting, fishing, farming, and foraging, and play solo or cooperatively with up to eight friends. A free demo was showcased during February’s Steam Next Fest, and the game has been refined based on player feedback from a recent playtest. The Early Access version will include core gameplay, cooperative play, and full controller support, and is expected to perform well on the Steam Deck. The Early Access phase is planned to last approximately two years, during which new content will be added based on player feedback. Pricing details are not yet available, but it is expected to be lower during Early Access.

Marvel Tōkon’s developer has apologised to PC players for the beta’s performance issues, with only a week until launch

The beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls lasted three days and faced significant challenges, including PlayStation Network outages on launch day and performance issues for PC players, such as severe stuttering and poor optimization. Some players reported a seamless experience, while others criticized the PC port as one of the worst in recent times. Arc System Works acknowledged the issues and is investigating solutions, promising updates and providing troubleshooting options. Speculation about the causes of performance problems included background processes from anti-cheat and PlayStation services. Despite these issues, the beta reached a peak of 33,233 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing previous records set by Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. The official release is scheduled for August 6, leaving developers with just over a week to address the feedback and performance issues.

MindsEye developers protest against a fan event their own studio is hosting

The only fighting game I’ve ever been excited for is now getting a PC playtest before launch

Arc System Works has announced an open beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, scheduled from July 24 to July 26, available on PC and PS5. The beta will include new stages, modes, and the character Blade. The final superhero team, Samurai Outriders, will be included at launch, bringing the total roster to 20 characters across five teams: Unbreakable X-Men, Amazing Guardians, Fighting Avengers, Knights of Doom, and Samurai Outriders. The game is set to officially launch on August 6, 2026.

After upsetting everyone by threatening to ruin Diablo 4’s most powerful loot in its next season, Blizzard has decided that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea after all

Blizzard Entertainment has updated the loot system for Diablo 4 in response to community feedback, aiming to preserve the uniqueness of items while allowing for more flexible random attributes. The changes include a broader utility for items, such as allowing a fire damage-enhancing item for a sorceress to also roll stats that complement cold skills. Additionally, the classification of Mythic Uniques will now extend to any Unique item with a purple tooltip, indicating items with maxed-out stats upon drop or crafting. These adjustments are set to enhance the loot experience and will be implemented in season 14, launching on June 30.
