Users spend about 198-201 minutes per month on the app and open it approximately 183.9 times each month. Each session lasts about 1 minute and 6 seconds. About 42.6% of users open the app daily. Messenger ads reached nearly 947 million users worldwide in 2026.

Google has launched the Google Health app, rebranding the existing Fitbit application, but it will phase out several features that longtime Fitbit users relied on. The badge system will be completely removed, and users will lose unique usernames, profile pictures, direct messaging, and community feeds. Child profiles will no longer allow adding friends, and the weekly leaderboard will only focus on steps and cardio load. In health and wellness, minute-by-minute stress check graphs will no longer be available, and detailed skin temperature data will be replaced with daily and weekly trends. Users cannot set calorie targets through food plans anymore, although they can set macronutrient goals. Recipes for Google Health Premium users will also be discontinued, and daily fitness plans will shift to weekly ones. Sleep features will be reduced, with the discontinuation of sleep profiles, monthly sleep animals, and the Estimated Oxygen Variation (EOV) feature. Premium subscribers will now use the Health Coach for personalized sleep responses, and snore detection on certain devices will be eliminated. The app will maintain compatibility with Health Connect and Apple Health but will no longer support connections to Lifescan devices, affecting users who monitor blood glucose levels. Users can log glucose data manually, but reminders and symptom tracking will be removed.

A new infostealer malware called LofyStealer is targeting the gaming community, particularly Minecraft players, by disguising itself as a cheat tool named “Slinky.” It employs a two-stage attack to extract sensitive information from eight major web browsers, including Chrome and Firefox, while evading detection by security software. The malware siphons off cookies, saved passwords, payment card information, and session tokens. Researchers at Zenox.ai identified LofyStealer, linking it to the Brazilian cybercrime group LofyGang, which has been active since October 2022. The malware uses social engineering tactics to appear legitimate and operates as a Malware-as-a-Service platform, offering both Free and Premium tiers to buyers. Its technical sophistication is evident in its method of in-memory browser injection, which allows it to bypass security defenses. The stolen data is compressed and sent to a command-and-control server. Users are advised to avoid downloading unofficial game mods and enable multi-factor authentication to reduce the risk of credential theft. Security teams should monitor for specific behavioral indicators related to the malware's operations.
