After 4 years of silence, one of the most disappointing games of 2020 gets a surprise expansion

Empire of Sin has released a new expansion titled "Hunt for Aurora," developed by Moonmana after Romero Games stepped aside. This expansion introduces a new boss, British mobster Robin Kray, and his partner Sylvia Taylor, along with a new gangster class called Vanguard, specializing in melee combat. It features the Dance Club racket, a new companion dog named Lucky, and several new weapons, including various firearms and melee options. The expansion includes a total of 14 new missions centered around the quest for the Aurora diamond. The game initially launched in 2020 with a 49% review score but has seen a revival after a period of stagnation.

The Standard Edition is priced at £59.99, the Deluxe Edition includes additional content, and the Super Deluxe Edition offers the most extensive features. The pricing has received a positive reception from fans, although some gamers outside the US, UK, and EU find it high. The game quickly became a top-ten seller on Steam after preorders opened.

Stellar Blade gets PC release date thanks to leaked PlayStation trailer

Korean developer Shift Up has confirmed the release date of their action game, Stellar Blade, for Windows PC on June 11, 2025. The PC version will feature enhancements such as ultrawide monitor support, advanced graphics technologies including DLSS 4 and FSR 3, and higher-resolution textures. Preorders are expected but not yet available. Stellar Blade was originally released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in April 2024, selling over a million copies and featuring crossover DLC with NieR: Automata. The PC version will also be published by PlayStation.

Microsoft introduces Surface PCs that run AI models and cost less than earlier versions

Microsoft introduced two next-generation Copilot+ PCs, the Surface Pro convertible tablet and a traditional Surface Laptop, designed to operate AI models without internet connectivity. The Surface Laptop starts at 9, while the Surface Pro starts at 9, both reflecting a 0 reduction from last year's models. They are powered by an Arm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip with eight cores and have slightly reduced screen sizes of 12 inches for the Pro and 13 inches for the Laptop. The Surface Laptop now supports up to 16 hours of web browsing, an increase from 13 hours. The new machines run on Windows 11 and feature AI-enhanced capabilities, including a Recall function and improved file search.
