Paradox refunds PlayStation Store preorders of Bloodlines 2 in preparation for ‘adjustments’ to its reviled $30 DLC to be revealed later this month

Paradox Interactive has initiated a refund process for PlayStation Store preorders of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 due to backlash over its pricing structure, which includes core content behind a DLC paywall. Customers are advised to renew their orders after planned adjustments to the game and pricing, with details to be revealed on September 17th ahead of the game's release on October 21st. Players who preordered on Steam may also be eligible for partial or full refunds based on DLC pricing changes. The decision to lock two of the six playable clans behind a DLC has faced criticism, especially compared to the original game, which offered seven clans. The game's development has been tumultuous, initially starting at Hardsuit Labs with a 2020 release date, then rebooted under The Chinese Room. Early impressions suggest potential improvement, but the DLC pricing strategy has dampened enthusiasm among players. Many hope for all clans to be included in the base game with an adjusted Premium Edition price.

After 4 years of silence, one of the most disappointing games of 2020 gets a surprise expansion

Empire of Sin has released a new expansion titled "Hunt for Aurora," developed by Moonmana after Romero Games stepped aside. This expansion introduces a new boss, British mobster Robin Kray, and his partner Sylvia Taylor, along with a new gangster class called Vanguard, specializing in melee combat. It features the Dance Club racket, a new companion dog named Lucky, and several new weapons, including various firearms and melee options. The expansion includes a total of 14 new missions centered around the quest for the Aurora diamond. Stellar Blade gets PC release date thanks to leaked PlayStation trailer

Korean developer Shift Up has confirmed the release date of their action game, Stellar Blade, for Windows PC on June 11, 2025. The PC version will feature enhancements such as ultrawide monitor support, advanced graphics technologies including DLSS 4 and FSR 3, and higher-resolution textures. Preorders are expected but not yet available. Stellar Blade was originally released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in April 2024, selling over a million copies and featuring crossover DLC with NieR: Automata. The PC version will also be published by PlayStation.
