Users can display battery percentage in the system tray. - Copilot Vision integration in the taskbar, allowing users to hover over an app icon for a thumbnail preview and a “Share with Copilot” button to analyze app content. - Improvements in File Explorer, with recommended files accessible for personal and local Microsoft accounts (excluding EEA users) and new commands like “Open file location” and “Ask Copilot”. - Fluid Dictation in Voice Access for Copilot+ PCs, providing real-time corrections for voice dictation. - Click to Do improvements for Copilot+ PCs, enabling translation of on-screen text, unit conversions, table detection for Excel, and a Freeform selection mode. Microsoft Drops New Windows 11 Builds for Canary and Release Preview Testers

Microsoft has released two new Windows 11 preview builds for Insiders on the Canary and Release Preview Channels. The Canary build 27881 includes features such as: - Speech recap in Narrator for monitoring spoken content and live transcriptions. - A profanity filter setting for voice typing that can be disabled. - A redesigned needy state pill UI for taskbar icons. - An accessibility flyout in quick settings categorized by assistive technology types. - Enhanced Windows Share allowing image editing and sharing through the context menu. - A new FAQs section in Settings addressing common system questions. - Updated touch input visual design with "animating bubbles." ISOs for the Canary build 27881 are available for clean installs, and an updated Snipping Tool with GIF export is accessible for Insiders. Microsoft releases new Windows Terminal updates with bug fixes

Microsoft has released two updates for Windows Terminal: version 1.22.2702.0 for preview testers and version 1.21.2701.0 for the Stable Channel. Version 1.21.2701.0 is available exclusively on GitHub and addresses a hanging issue in Windows 11 version 23H2, with a fix expected soon via Windows Update. Windows Terminal 1.21.2701.0 Changes: - Alt+Keypad Plus will only be consumed if EnableHexNumpad is activated in the registry. - Default input scope for the IME can be configured via the Startup page or JSON key. Bug Fixes: - Multiple Emojis can now be input simultaneously on Windows 10. - Selecting a command from history in cmd and Python will not reinsert it into history. - Localizations have been corrected. - Improved focus transfer to windows spawned by hosted console applications. - Search box no longer obscures results unless scrolling is not possible. - Scroll position is maintained when the search box is open. Windows Terminal Preview 1.22.2702.0 Changes: - The wt x-save feature has been reactivated. - Command Prompt "quick fix" feature is back. - Using RIS (ESC c) restores the color scheme to default. - Alt+Keypad Plus behavior is consistent with version 1.21.2701.0. - Tab switcher displays each tab's color. - Default input scope for the IME can be configured similarly to version 1.21.2701.0.
