Google’s May 2025 Pixel update is here with bug fixes and a critical security patch

The May 2025 security update for Google Pixel devices began deployment on May 6, addressing a critical zero-day security vulnerability (CVE-2025-27363) and including three bug fixes along with 28 security patches. The rollout may take about one week to reach all devices, depending on models and carriers. The update prevents devices from reverting to older, vulnerable versions of the bootloader. NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation Is Coming Soon to MechWarrior 5: Clans and New World: Aeternum

NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation has been introduced to enhance the visual experience in several games, including MechWarrior 5: Clans, New World: Aeternum, and Spirit of the North 2. MechWarrior 5: Clans, a spin-off set in the MechWarrior universe, will receive an update with the Ghost Bear: Flash Storm DLC, supporting NVIDIA DLSS 4 for improved frame rates on GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. New World: Aeternum will launch Season 8 - Season of the Divide, featuring new maps and events, and will integrate NVIDIA DLSS 4 for enhanced visuals and performance. Spirit of the North 2 will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation from its launch in two days. Other titles adopting DLSS technology include Bodycam, which has been updated to support DLSS Super Resolution with plans for Frame Generation, and Lost Skies, which launched on Steam Early Access with DLSS Super Resolution. GTA V Enhanced Gets New Update To Fix Graphics Issues

The sixth post-launch update for GTA V Enhanced on PC has been released by Rockstar Games, focusing on improving graphics and addressing player concerns. The update size ranges from 400 to 900 MB, depending on the platform. Patch notes include fixes for Microsoft account communication issues, crash issues, texture problems, ray tracing performance, audio issues, and a progression halt in a Story Mode mission. Will Microsoft finally give PC gamers the one series they should already have?

Gears of War: Reloaded will debut on PlayStation and is set for release on August 26, 2025. The game will feature native 4K assets, HDR and Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos Surround Sound, variable refresh rate, super resolution, enhanced art direction, and no loading screens. It will support cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. Players who own Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will receive a complimentary upgrade to this new version, and it will be available on day one through Game Pass.

Microsoft will soon allow AI to change your Windows 11 settings

Microsoft is introducing a new AI assistant within the Windows 11 settings app, designed to assist users by adjusting settings upon request and providing guidance on tasks. The AI assistant will be positioned at the top of the Settings app and will have the ability to autonomously adjust settings with user approval. It is currently available on Copilot+ PCs and will soon roll out to Windows Insiders on standard x86-powered systems, though an official release date for all Windows 11 users has not yet been announced. Additionally, the Photos app will receive new dynamic lighting controls, the Snipping Tool will feature an improved cropping area, a text extractor, and a color picker. AI integration will also extend to File Explorer, allowing users to engage with files through AI actions. A significant update called Copilot Vision will enable users to share browser and app windows with Copilot for enhanced assistance. These features will first be tested through the Windows Insider program before being released to the general public.
