Fortnite outdoes itself once again: the next chapter features an unfilmed scene from Kill Bill, announced by Quentin Tarantino

Fortnite will feature an unfilmed scene from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill series in its upcoming Chapter 7, coinciding with the theatrical re-release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair on November 19, 2025. This re-release will also include a new anime sequence and has a runtime of four hours and 51 minutes, with a 15-minute intermission, set to hit theaters on December 5. Tarantino has expressed interest in a potential Volume Three of Kill Bill, exploring the lives of The Bride and her daughter, B.B. Kiddo, two decades after the original films. Fortnite has collaborated with various franchises, including The Simpsons, Star Wars, and Mortal Kombat, and Chapter 7 is scheduled to launch on November 30.

Famed Haltom City home rocks Halloween with K-Pop & Minecraft light show

A residence in Haltom City, known for its Christmas light displays, has created a Halloween showcase themed around Minecraft, featuring characters like Freddy Krueger and elements from KPop Demon Hunters. The display includes a 13-minute synchronized light show with music and film clips projected onto an LED screen, running nightly from 6:30 to 11:30 PM. The setup features a 12-foot "Steve" and a 16-foot "Enderman," along with gravestones, bats, and a giant spiderweb. Visitors can listen to the audio on radio channel 87.9 FM. On Halloween night, the family will host a free haunted house and provide candy from 7 to 9:30 PM. The Halloween lights will be on display until November 2 at 4521 Wisdom Way, Haltom City, 76117.

Shovel Game combines Minecraft, Mozart and hell

Shovel Game is a short-form first-person experience that combines elements reminiscent of Minecraft’s destructible environments. Players navigate through bizarre spaces, mining only select blocks while avoiding lethal sprites resembling Zordon from Power Rangers. The game features a demo on Itch.io and is set to launch on Steam. It includes a labyrinth with blue phantoms and unsettling imagery in a cosmic chapel. The game was developed by Luke Vincent for a "shovelware horror" game jam. Another entry from the same jam, titled Crank It, was created by Mike Klubnika and James Dornan, involving navigation through a cavernous hallway filled with gadgets and lurking horrors.

Avowed update basically reinvents the fighter and ranger classes, while also adding new weapons and better Steam Deck optimization

Avowed has received a significant update to address the imbalance between character classes, particularly benefiting rangers and fighters. New abilities for rangers include Shadow Step, Fan of Daggers, Smoke Bomb, and Chilling Surprise, along with passive skills like Concussive Shot, Sharpshooter, and Deadly Poison. Fighters have gained abilities such as Driving Kick, Barbaric Smash, Deep Breath, and Reviving Exhortation, with passive skills including Dual Wield Mastery, Adrenaline, Bloodlust, and Vanguard. Additionally, new unique items have been introduced, including various weapons and robes. The update also includes graphics improvements, new FPS options, and bug fixes.
