How to beat the Hollow Knight Silksong Savage Beastfly

The Savage Beastfly is an oversized Diptera found in Hunter's March, specifically in the Chapel of the Beast, located in the bottom-right corner. Players must equip the Drifter's Cloak to access this area and should secure the Hunter's March bench before entering the chapel. The Beastfly has two primary attacks: a long-range charge and a triple downward slam, and it summons smaller Beastflies and spike-spouting Kiliks. Players can defeat it by timing their dodges and managing summoned enemies effectively, utilizing tools like the Silk Storm ability and the Reaper Crest for healing and mobility. In the Far Fields, the Savage Beastfly appears in the Fourth Chorus boss arena, accessible after accepting the Savage Beastfly wish quest from the wish board in Bellhart. Players need to defeat the Cogwork Dancers in Act 2 to unlock this quest. Enhancements like the Clawline skill and Faydown Cloak improve mobility during the fight. The second Beastfly retains similar abilities but introduces sticky fireball-spewing Tarflies. Players should eliminate Tarflies quickly and utilize tools like Sting Shards and Flea Brew for effective damage management. Defeating the Beastfly rewards players with a mask shard, completing the quest.

Upcoming Silksong patch will make the early game easier and the mid-game cheaper—nerfing 2 bosses and shoring up its stingy rosary economy

Next week, Silksong will release its first patch (1.0.28470), which includes a playable beta branch on Steam. The patch features a slight difficulty reduction for early game bosses Moorwing and Sister Splinter, and a reduction in damage from Sandcarvers, changing their damage from two masks to one. The patch notes also list various bug fixes and enhancements, including: - Fix for players remaining cloakless after the Slab escape sequence. - Fix for the Infestation Operation not being completable during the late game. - Fix for the Beast in the Bells not being completable when summoned at the Bilewater Bellway during the late game. - Fix for getting stuck floating after down-bouncing on certain projectiles. - Fix for inaccessible courier deliveries in Act 3. - Fix for craft bind behaving incorrectly in memories. - Fix for Lace tool deflect soft-lock at the start of battle in Deep Docks. - Fix for Silk Snippers in Chapel of the Reaper getting stuck out of bounds. - Fix for Claw Mirrors leaving Hornet inverted after taking damage during a specific moment. - Fix for Snitch Pick not giving rosaries and shell shards as intended. - Removal of float override input (down + jump after Faydown Cloak). - Slight increase in pea pod collider scale. - Slight reduction in mid-game Bellway and Bell Bench prices. - Slight increase in rosary rewards from relics and psalm cylinders. - Increase in rosary rewards for courier deliveries. I’ve found a safe Silksong Rosary farm that nets over 5,000 an hour—basically enough to buy everything in the game

After acquiring the map, players should head right to reach the First Shrine, activate the bell, and rest at the nearby bench. From there, they can ascend platforms and navigate to the Ventrica system, which allows for efficient transport of resources. The farming process involves defeating three sizable enemies near the First Shrine, each dropping 32 Rosaries, totaling approximately 96 Rosaries every minute and a half. To enhance farming speed, players can acquire anklets that boost sprint speed or use a Silk Eater item for safe retrieval of their cocoon. The presence of a boss at the end of the corridor allows for grinding Rosaries while preparing for the encounter. After accumulating Rosaries, players should consider purchasing Rosary Threads from the Bellhart vendor to ensure they have currency when resting at benches.
