EA has confirmed the re-release of The Sims and The Sims 2 on PC to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary. A special The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle is available, which includes both games and all their downloadable content (DLC) for a total price. Individual purchases of each title can also be made. The re-releases are available on the EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam, but not on consoles. The Sims 2 Legacy Collection includes all DLC from the original game and a bonus from The Sims 4: the Grunge Revival Kit. These re-releases are not remasters or remakes and maintain the original's 32-bit charm. This bundle is the only legal way to experience these classic games for those without physical copies.
