The game Hozy invites players to revitalize a forgotten neighborhood by cleaning, painting, and decorating homes, focusing on a relaxing gameplay experience without timers or score meters. Players can tackle various rooms, starting with a messy attic, and use pre-filled boxes of items for decoration, which helps alleviate choice paralysis. The game features a first-floor studio with an adjacent garden, where players can creatively design spaces. Developer Come On Studio has announced that Hozy will include nine handcrafted locations to renovate and is set to launch on March 30, 2026. A suggested feature for improvement is painter's tape for more precise wall sectioning.

Block by block: Johns Island middle school students bring future rec center to life in Minecraft

Sixth graders at Haut Gap Middle School designed a future recreation center for Johns Island using Minecraft as part of a month-long competition. The winning design, created by Colin White, Hart Anderson, Elijah Robertson, and Russell Thiem, was presented to the City Council. The center is planned to be a 50,000-square-foot facility featuring a 25-meter swimming pool, a therapy pool, a yoga studio, indoor courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, as well as outdoor amenities like additional pickleball courts, a basketball court, a playground, and a splash pad. The students creatively adapted game elements in their designs, such as using spider webs for basketball netting and snowballs as basketballs. City Councilman Jim McBride acknowledged the importance of the students' input, and Mayor William Cogswell humorously requested a motion to approve the budget for the new center. The construction will be funded through a million bond referendum approved by voters in 2023, with an anticipated groundbreaking in October and an estimated 18-month construction timeline.

2005 FPS Serious Sam 2 just got a big update for reasons known only to God

The Deus Ex mod that’s a better sequel than Invisible War just got a mondo-update, and playing it couldn’t be easier

Aspyr has released an official remaster of Deus Ex, which has received mixed reactions from the gaming community. In response, many players have turned to Deus Ex: Revision (DX:R), a fan-driven modernization of the original game available on Steam. DX:R includes a compilation of mods, reimagined maps, and gameplay enhancements while allowing players to disable new features for a classic experience. Recently, it received its first update since 2023, improving the game by fixing bugs and adding memory-assistance features, including a password/keycode toggle for terminals. Additionally, The Nameless Mod (TNM), a total-conversion mod launched in 2009, has received a significant update after three years of development. This update includes new levels, secrets, items, and gameplay modes, as well as features from the DX:R update like the password manager. TNM can be installed through the DX:R Steam Workshop, and players can choose to play with the original maps from the 2009 version.
