Roguelite Experience

Indie game developer Chasing Carrots has released the full version of Halls of Torment on Steam after a year and a half in Early Access. The game is a survival roguelite that features a horde survival setting with a nostalgic pre-rendered art style reminiscent of late 90s RPGs. Players can choose from various hero characters to battle enemies and face the Lords of the Underworld. Key features include 30-minute gameplay sessions, quest-based meta progression, diverse abilities and items, challenging bosses, multiple underground worlds, crafting magical tinctures, and opportunities to unlock and combine class powers. A free update accompanies the launch, adding new content and features.
