The spear has become the preferred tool over the pickaxe, and spear training dummies are introduced for practice. These dummies come in four variations: Skeleton, Drowned, Zombie, and Husk. After practicing, players can participate in The Spear Trials, a randomly generated dungeon that tests spear skills with obstacles and hidden vases containing saddle charms. Mining is not an option in the dungeons. Additionally, "Mounts of Mayhem: Dungeon Descent" is available in the Marketplace, requiring the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

The Camel Husk is a new double-seater mount introduced in Minecraft's latest update, found exclusively in the Desert biome at night or during thunderstorms. It spawns when ridden by a Husk and a Parched, collectively known as the Camel Husk Jockey. Taming the Camel Husk requires a saddle, but players must first defeat the Husk and Parched. Players can lead or heal the Camel Husk using a Rabbit’s Foot, which can be obtained from defeating Rabbits or the Husk itself. Riding the Camel Husk allows for two players and features a dash charge mechanic. The Parched also spawns in the Desert biome at night, typically in groups of four, and wields a bow or may appear in armor. Both the Camel Husk and Parched do not burn in sunlight, which affects gameplay strategies.

The Camel Husk is an undead variant of the traditional camel in Minecraft, set to debut with the Mounts of Mayhem update. It spawns exclusively in desert biomes at night when the light level is zero, with a 10% chance of appearing with two riders: a Husk and a Parched. Camel Husks require open spaces for spawning and cannot be found in caves. To tame a Camel Husk, players must first defeat its riders and then feed it a rabbit's foot, which will result in red hearts appearing above its head. Players can ride the Camel Husk after taming it by equipping a saddle, which allows for navigation and speed bursts. Camel Husks are immune to sunlight and have a robust health bar.
