How to make a Minecraft Saddle

In Minecraft version 1.21.6, players can craft Saddles using 3 Leather and 1 Iron Ingot. The Leather is arranged with one piece in the top or middle row of the crafting table and the other two in the row below, with the Iron Ingot placed in the open space. Saddles allow players to control mounts like Horses and Donkeys. Some mounts can be ridden without a Saddle but without control, while others, like Pigs and Striders, require a Carrot on a Stick or a Warped Fungus on a Stick for control. To remove a Saddle from a mount, players can use Shears.

For the first time since launch you’ll finally be able to craft saddles in Minecraft

Minecraft will introduce saddle crafting for horses and pigs, allowing players to create saddles using one iron ingot and three pieces of leather. This feature is currently in testing and will be part of the second game drop of the year, though no release date has been confirmed. The update will also include five new music tracks composed by Amos Roddy, with one track titled "Tears" obtainable by defeating a specific ghast in the Nether, while it will also be available on Spotify.
