How to Tame Camel Husks in Minecraft

The Camel Husk is an undead variant of the traditional camel in Minecraft, set to debut with the Mounts of Mayhem update. It spawns exclusively in desert biomes at night when the light level is zero, with a 10% chance of appearing with two riders: a Husk and a Parched. Camel Husks require open spaces for spawning and cannot be found in caves. To tame a Camel Husk, players must first defeat its riders and then feed it a rabbit's foot, which will result in red hearts appearing above its head. Players can ride the Camel Husk after taming it by equipping a saddle, which allows for navigation and speed bursts. Camel Husks are immune to sunlight and have a robust health bar. Breeding between Camel Husks is not possible.

The author has been covering Minecraft updates for Windows Central and missed the Minecraft Live event in September 2025 due to a work trip. New game rules include pvp, allowEnteringNetherUsingPortals, spawnMonsters, and enableCommandBlocks. The text rendering component has been enhanced to support non-character objects within text, with new formats for object types. The chain has been renamed to iron_chain in both Data and Resource Packs. A comprehensive list of bugs has been fixed to enhance gameplay stability and performance. Snapshots are available for Minecraft: Java Edition, and users are advised to back up their worlds before installation.

How to make a Minecraft Saddle

In Minecraft version 1.21.6, players can craft Saddles using 3 Leather and 1 Iron Ingot. The Leather is arranged with one piece in the top or middle row of the crafting table and the other two in the row below, with the Iron Ingot placed in the open space. Saddles allow players to control mounts like Horses and Donkeys. Some mounts can be ridden without a Saddle but without control, while others, like Pigs and Striders, require a Carrot on a Stick or a Warped Fungus on a Stick for control. To remove a Saddle from a mount, players can use Shears.
