Windows 11 responsible as PC gaming hardware sales surge by 35%, research concludes

Peak has sold 10m copies

Peak has sold approximately ten million copies to date, with a surge of 1.7 million copies sold in the past week due to a 38 percent discount on Steam. As of last week, it had reached a total of 9.7 million units sold and generated over a million in revenue. Peak was the top-selling game on Steam for the week and ranked as the third highest-grossing title during that period. It is the second indie game to surpass ten million sales, following REPO, which has sold 16.8 million units. After a decline in sales momentum, a price cut introduced eight weeks post-launch revitalized sales, leading to over 550,000 copies sold during the weekend following the discount. The game achieved its highest concurrent player count of 171,000 and recorded over 1.3 million daily active users on the same day.

Peak hits 4.5m sales

Peak has sold over 4.5 million copies within three weeks of its launch on June 16th. It sold two million copies in nine days and reached a peak of 114,492 concurrent players on Steam. The studio broke even within the first few hours of release and reached 1.6 million copies sold within the first week. The team attributes their success to community support, referred to as the Power of Friendship.
