Activity? Journeys? Library? Google just can’t stop renaming this history view (APK teardown)

The Google Android app has rebranded its "Saved" feature to "Activity" and is currently testing new labels such as "Journeys" and "Library" for the historical view of user search history and saved items. Users on the beta version 16.30.59.ve.arm64 have reported these changes, and an APK teardown has revealed potential alternative names including Activity, Hub, Journeys, Library, Recents, You, and Your Space. This experimentation has resulted in different labels appearing for the same Google account across devices. Google App launches ‘Activity’ tab for Android users: What’s inside

The new tab is organized into three sections: History, which displays the four most recent searches and accessed websites; Saved items, which presents saved content in a carousel view; and Collections, which offers groupings of saved items. Users can still access the old layout through the “Saves & Collections” option in the account menu. Additionally, adjustments have been made to the Home tab’s space carousel. The “Activity” tab integrates with Web & App Activity for managing user interactions across Google services.

How to Export Your Saved Articles Before Pocket Shuts Down for Good

Pocket will cease operations on July 8, with users required to export their saved items by October 8. The app is no longer available for download, and sign-ups and renewals have been disabled. Google app is testing an easier way to view your search history and saved items
