Arc Raiders is a multiplayer game that features thrilling encounters with terrifying robots, fostering both camaraderie and betrayal among players. The game creates a cinematic atmosphere, with players documenting their experiences using binoculars and framing their recordings as in-world reports. These recordings mimic war correspondents' styles, utilizing claustrophobic angles, shaky camera work, VHS noise, and retro color correction to enhance the 70s sci-fi aesthetic. Players capture intense battles against robotic foes and other players, with notable moments including a massive Matriarch and a stealthy Leaper. The trend of cinematic storytelling is also seen in other games like Helldivers 2. There is excitement for future Arc Raiders documentaries, with suggestions for unique press costumes and 35mm film cameras to enhance player storytelling.

Carlos Rosario is designing costumes for an upcoming film set in the Alien universe, collaborating with director Fede Alvarez. The film's setting is a deteriorated colony, and Rosario focused on two primary groups: farmers and miners. He researched mid-20th century American farmers and vintage Carhartt pieces for the farmers' attire, while for the miners, he drew inspiration from old uniforms and coveralls, combining elements like '80s ski suits with industrial gear. The costumes underwent an aging process for authenticity. Rosario emphasized the importance of the '80s sci-fi aesthetic, avoiding shiny fabrics and collaborating with Reebok to create sneakers for the character Rain. The character Andy's sleek coveralls featured numerous zippers and an industrial feel, with a fanny pack added during brainstorming sessions. Rosario took pride in designing a Hawaiian shirt for Navarro and faced challenges creating Rain's oversized red rain jacket, which required extensive trial and error to capture the right shade. Rosario acknowledged the technical challenges of the project, including the need for multiple costume versions for stunts and special effects, which required coordination with prosthetics and visual effects teams. He gained valuable insights for future projects involving intense action and unique character deaths.
