Game director Carrie Patel has indicated that Avowed features multiple endings influenced by key choices and smaller decisions throughout the game. The main decision involves whether to kill or spare Sapadal, which affects the ending slides. Sparing Sapadal while encouraging her darker impulses does not lead to a "vengeful" ending slide, but providing her with the Adra mech during Sargamis' quest results in a unique slide showing her peaceful use of it. Killing Sapadal aligns with the original pantheon of Eora and ends the Dreamscourge, similar to sparing her. Merging with Sapadal leads to a darker outcome where she overtakes the player's personality, also resulting in the Dreamscourge's defeat. In the Living Lands, players can achieve different outcomes based on their choices during the council. Siding with Lödwyn and achieving the Steel Garrote ending requires specific prior actions; otherwise, players may be executed as traitors. An Aedyran colony outcome results in direct control over the Living Lands, while a "gréfram" allows for partial colonization with some governance retained. Advocating for an independent Living Lands leads to favorable outcomes for certain characters but leaves others in uncertain situations. Optional quests can also influence the ending slides, such as Giatta's career path, Yatzli's fate depending on her choices, Marius's contentment based on quest completion, and Kai's grim fate if his quest is unfinished. Each of Kai's positive outcomes can lead to a romantic epilogue if interest is expressed.

The Trailblazers update in Elite Dangerous introduces a new system colonization feature, currently in beta, allowing players to claim and develop their own star systems. Players can start the colonization process at any space station by engaging with a new contact dedicated to this feature. They must invest 25,000,000 credits to secure a claim on a new system, which requires careful planning. Once a claim is established, players need to provide resources to develop their settlements. The update also allows players to creatively name their stations using premium currency.

A recent update for Civilization 7 has been released, addressing player feedback from the advanced access phase. The full launch is set for February 11, with Founders Edition players having access since February 6. User ratings on Steam have fluctuated from "mostly negative" to "mixed," largely due to user interface concerns. The update fixes several interface issues and bugs, and temporarily disables crossplay between PC and console multiplayer to expedite PC updates. Crossplay between Xbox and PlayStation remains unaffected. Initial reactions to the patch have been positive, although ongoing issues persist. Firaxis plans to support Civilization 7 for years, continuing the franchise's legacy. Gameplay fixes include adjustments to Ages in Epic and Marathon games, changes to City States, improvements in naval combat, and modifications to town growth and loyalty crises. AI behavior has been adjusted regarding peace deals and war declarations based on ideology. Camera issues related to native resolutions have been fixed. UI improvements include font changes, bug fixes in menus, and better alignment of leader names and portraits.

Key developers from Mojang discussed the Iron Golem, a neutral mob in Minecraft that players can construct to protect against hostile entities. Iron Golems are known for their strength and are often created by villagers or generated spontaneously in villages, where they patrol to ensure safety. Their design resembles villagers, symbolizing their role as community protectors. The developers also highlighted the distinct sounds of the Iron Golem, which enhance its personality and player interactions. Additionally, they addressed the mechanics of Iron Farms, player-created structures for resource harvesting, emphasizing the balance between gameplay mechanics and player creativity.

In Stalker 2, maintaining weapon integrity is crucial as firearms lose durability with each encounter, affecting damage output and increasing malfunction risks. To repair weapons, players must find a tech NPC, such as Lens in Zalissya, who can upgrade and repair gear. Players can identify tech NPCs by a spanner icon on the map. To repair a weapon, players access the upgrade menu, where they can see repair options and costs in coupons. Weapon condition is indicated by a shield icon: yellow for wear and red for broken. Firearms with low durability are less effective, cannot be traded if below 40% condition, and are more likely to jam. Repair costs increase over time, making frequent repairs advisable.
