Valve Corporation is expanding its Steam Daily Deals program from four to six discounted games each day. This change aims to increase the variety of discounts available to gamers, enhancing player choice and engagement. The selection of discounted games will be tailored based on user interest and engagement rather than being random. Valve has also refined the frequency with which games can appear in Daily Deals to ensure a diverse range of titles is featured. The expansion is designed to provide players with more opportunities to find both popular and lesser-known games at lower prices. Daily Deals have become one of the most clicked sections on the Steam homepage, indicating their popularity among users. Tesco will remove the "pay in-store" feature, formerly known as Tesco Pay+, from its app, with the phased removal concluding on March 7. Customers will need to pay separately after scanning their Clubcard during in-store visits. Any linked card details will be deleted unless associated with GetGo, Whoosh, or home delivery services. Customers expressed disappointment and frustration over this change. Tesco stated that customers can still earn points and access offers by scanning their Clubcard or integrating it with Apple or Google Wallets.
