While both editions will share the initial digits, the subsequent numbers will differ due to platform limitations and varying release schedules. For example, in 2025, three significant game updates were released: Spring to Life, Chase the Skies, and The Copper Age, with one more, Mounts of Mayhem, on the way.

Final Fantasy 14 7.4’s tomestone changes have arrived, so make sure you spend them before they’re gone

Players in Final Fantasy 14 should prepare for the transition to the new Mnemonics tomestones with the release of patch 7.4 on December 16. The Aesthetics tomestones will be removed, and players are advised to exchange them for Heliometry tomestones at Auriana in Revenant's Toll. Heliometry tomestones will be convertible into Mathematics tomestones, which will replace Heliometry as rewards from certain duties. The weekly cap on Mathematics will be lifted, but players will still have a maximum inventory limit of 2,000. The new Mnemonics tomestones will be available to players at level 100, while Poetics tomestones will continue to allow exchanges for gear up to level 90. Players should clear out their Aesthetics tomestones before the update.

The game is a 16-bit retro homage to classic JRPGs and will feature a 2.5D turn-based RPG experience with dynamic over-the-shoulder battles. It is set to introduce creatures like Arcalith, Helialith, and Verdalith, with a full release planned for late 2027. The game includes features such as extra save files, permadeath options, a randomizer mode, and a Clash Tower mode. Alpha and beta testing will continue until summer 2027, and the 'Late Pledges' period is still open for additional support.

After Bloodlines 2 I was going to return to VTM’s underrated battle royale game, but there’s bad news

In May 2023, Sharkmob announced the end of active development for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, leading to a decline in player engagement. By September 2023, the game reached a standstill, and Sharkmob confirmed that the servers will permanently close on April 28, 2026. Players can no longer purchase Tokens, the in-game currency, but the store remains open for spending remaining balances. The daily player count had dwindled to 400 to 600. After April 28, 2026, the game will no longer be available for play or purchase on PC and PlayStation platforms.

How to Make and Use Spear in Minecraft

The spear is a new weapon in Minecraft introduced in the Mounts of Mayhem update, positioned between the sword and the trident. It allows for both Jab and Charge attacks, providing versatility in combat. To craft a spear, players need 2 sticks and one of the following: wooden planks, stone blocks, or various ingots (copper, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite). The crafting process involves placing one stick in the bottom-left corner, another in the center, and the chosen material in the top-right corner of a crafting table. The Jab attack is a standard close-range strike with a cooldown period, while the Charge attack builds momentum for increased damage and can knock back or dismount opponents when mounted on an animal. Higher-tier spears deal more damage but have longer cooldowns. Players can also perform Charge attacks while using an Elytra or traveling in Minecarts or boats on icy surfaces. Various enchantments, including Lunge, can enhance the spear's capabilities.
