Users reported interruptions during the update process and received a message about missing system files, with a common error code of 0x80073712 indicating damage or absence of essential components in the WinSxS system folder. Microsoft has initiated an internal investigation and temporarily restricted access to the update through the Windows Update service. There is currently no estimated timeline for resolving the issue. The Windows 11 UI is truly awful; sliders that should be there have disappeared, leaving only ‘0’ and ‘3’ as selectable options, and the item names are incomprehensible.

A glitch in the keyboard settings screen of Windows 11 Pro version 25H2, build 26200.8039, has been reported following the March 2026 monthly update. The issue involves the 'Wait time before keyboard characters appear' setting, which displays a lengthy text prompt 'Increase wait time' instead of the expected slider, making the slider nearly invisible. Users can only adjust the value to '0' or '3' using the mouse, while the keyboard allows for four levels: '0', '1', '2', and '3'. A previous build, 26200.7623, had the positions of 'Short' and 'Longer waiting times' reversed. Users can report this issue through the Feedback Hub by pressing 'Windows key' and 'F', which captures a screenshot and allows them to summarize their feedback. Submissions can be tracked by signing in with a Microsoft account, and feedback is archived in 'C:ProgramDataMicrosoftDiagnosisFeedbackArchive'.
