A digital display at the Northgate bus station in Northampton has been malfunctioning, lagging by three to four minutes in providing accurate bus times, which risks travelers missing their buses. The software is currently non-functional, displaying the default Windows desktop background and icons instead of bus information. The bus station opened in 2014, and the display appears to be running on Windows 10. The display is equipped with spikes to deter pigeons, but there have been no improvements to its software performance.
