Samsung has launched the Hearapy app, an Android application aimed at alleviating motion sickness through sound therapy. Users listen to this tone via headphones for about 60 seconds, with playback adjustable between 40 and 120 seconds. Samsung claims that one minute of listening can reduce motion sickness symptoms for up to two hours. The app is designed to work with most headphones but is optimized for Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. The concept is based on research from Nagoya University, which found that specific sound wavelengths can help reduce discomfort during travel.
