Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown is a fairly dull curiosity that I’m really enjoying

Tuvix, a character in Star Trek Voyager, is created from a transporter accident that fuses two crew members into one. The decision to separate Tuvix back into his original forms involves sacrificing the unique entity he has become. Retaining Tuvix would provide a powerful asset on missions but would cost the distinct personalities of the original characters. Ultimately, the choice is made to separate Tuvix, restoring the original crew members. The game "Across the Unknown" features a mix of missions inspired by Voyager episodes, with gameplay centered around resource gathering and ship reconstruction. The narrative includes choices, such as dealing with the character Seska, and presents the option to abandon missions, which conflicts with Starfleet principles. The game is described as enjoyable but may not appeal to those unfamiliar with Voyager.

Star Trek: Infection VR Is A Quest 3 & PC VR Narrative Survival Game

Star Trek: Infection VR is a narrative survival game developed by Played With Fire and published by Broken Mirror Games, designed for Quest 3 and PC VR platforms. Players assume the role of a Vulcan Starfleet officer on a covert mission aboard the USS Lumen, where they face a psychological and physical nightmare as a sinister presence infects them. The game features stealth and combat mechanics, allowing players to use a tricorder and phaser, and includes crafting elements. It is the second playable Star Trek VR game for home use and the only one currently available for Quest users. The game is set to release later this year, with an initial launch on Quest 3 and Quest 3S, followed by a PC VR debut on Steam. Players can wishlist the game on the Meta Horizon Store.
