French game developer Motion Twin has halted updates for its title, Dead Cells, to focus on their new project, Windblown. Artist and level designer Gwen Massé stated that this decision marks the end of an era for Dead Cells and allows the studio to concentrate fully on Windblown, which is currently in development and launched into Steam Early Access in October 2024. Massé emphasized that this shift has enabled the studio to pursue more ambitious projects.
