Dream fears Minecraft career setback after breaking wrist in Sapnap sparring session

Dream, a Minecraft content creator, sustained a wrist fracture during a sparring session with fellow creator Sapnap in April 2025, which was meant to prepare Sapnap for the canceled Creator Clash 3 boxing event. The injury occurred when Dream, who had limited boxing experience, struck with his wrist instead of his knuckles while throwing punches. After experiencing wrist mobility issues and being unable to record videos, he was diagnosed with a scaphoid bone fracture that required surgery. Although he expected a one-month recovery, his healing has been prolonged, and he is currently wearing a cast and undergoing experimental ultrasonic therapy. In a YouTube video on November 4, Dream discussed the negative impact of his injury on his gaming performance, noting a decline in aim and precision while playing Minecraft, and expressed hope for recovery and a return to form.

King’s launches messaging app for families with premature babies

A new video messaging app has been launched at King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital to support families with premature infants. Funded by King’s College Hospital Charity, it allows staff in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) to send secure photo and video updates to families. The app helps families see their babies during play, therapy sessions, baths, and feeding times, even when they are not present. Since its launch in June 2025, it has enabled parents to ask questions and receive updates on their baby's progress. The app aims to alleviate separation anxiety and strengthen emotional bonds. Additionally, a child-friendly app called Little Journey was launched in May 2025 for NICU patients at Lister Hospital, adapted to support families during neonatal care.
