I might finally have gone too far with a GTA 5 mod that imports most of Doom 2

A mod named Doom 2 in GTA 5 Hell On Earth (D2IGTA5HOE) merges elements of Doom 2 with Grand Theft Auto 5, allowing players to switch from third-person to first-person perspective using the F9 key. Players can engage in combat in Los Santos with weapons from the Doom franchise, such as a minigun and BFG, while activating Hell On Earth mode with the F10 key introduces Doom 2 enemies. The gameplay features include battling demons and armed furries, with additional features like flossing and Superman mode also triggered by the F10 key, which can clutter the screen.

Despite the tragic death of its lead writer, one of the scariest games I have ever played will finally come out later this month

Divine Frequency, developed by Abraxaes, is set for an early access launch on October 27, following the release of a new trailer on September 25. The game has faced development challenges, including the passing of lead writer Pablo "Artistical" Lamprea earlier this year.

Registered Players Of Rare Cookie’s Bustle Invited To Secret Party

Cookie’s Bustle, a video game released in 1999, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The game was discontinued in 2001 and has since developed a cult following. Recently, an exclusive gathering for fans was held to commemorate the anniversary, organized by QualityTime Consulting. The event featured live music, exclusive merchandise, and cookies shaped like the character Cookie. The game has faced ownership disputes, particularly with an individual named Brandon White, who attempted to erase its presence online through copyright claims. However, the Video Game History Foundation intervened, successfully combating these claims in March and restoring content related to the game. The future of Cookie’s Bustle remains uncertain, with no announcements regarding remasters or sequels made at the recent event.

Persona 1 and 2 remakes are something Atlus will ‘probably eventually do’, which is great, but the PS2-era Shin Megami Tensei games are sitting right there

Kazuhisa Wada, the producer of the Persona series, hinted at the possibility of remakes for Persona 1 and 2, emphasizing the importance of cultural preservation in gaming. Atlus recently remade Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne, but fans are curious about the future of Digital Devil Saga and its sequel. Shin Megami Tensei 4 remains exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, while Shin Megami Tensei 3 and 5 are available on PC. Fans are urging Atlus to prioritize remakes of Shin Megami Tensei 4, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, and Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon.

The Sinking City 2 is one of my biggest gaming surprises of the year — and it’s scratching that Resident Evil itch

The Sinking City 2 is a sequel to the 2019 original, developed by Ukrainian studio Frogwares. It is set in a flooded, surreal version of 1920s Arkham and follows the character Calvin Rafferty, an occult adventurer facing Lovecraftian creatures. The game shifts from the detective-centric gameplay of its predecessor to focus on combat, exploration, resource management, and horror. Players will navigate a world filled with supernatural threats while engaging in survival elements.

More GTA 6 leaks reveal new details: Cloning keys, combat changes, random bird deaths

The leaker "Cyberleek" has released two new gameplay clips of Grand Theft Auto 6, featuring the male protagonist, Jason, and showcasing several gameplay mechanics. One notable feature is the "Clone Key" option for quieter car theft, differing from the traditional "Smash Window" method. The interaction system allows players to greet or taunt NPCs, and there is a quicker looting animation compared to Red Dead Redemption 2, along with a dedicated item wheel for inventory management. A peculiar moment in the clips shows birds falling from the sky, raising questions about environmental realism. Additionally, a healing item called "Zombix" is introduced, which loses effectiveness with repeated use, adding a strategic layer to health management. The official reveal is scheduled for August 27.
