GACHIAKUTA survival RPG game announced for consoles and PC

Com2uS has announced the development of GACHIAKUTA: The Game, a survival action RPG inspired by the manga and anime franchise, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. A trailer showcasing in-development graphics has been released, but no specific release date is available. The game aims to capture the series' gritty aesthetic and battles, utilizing graffiti art by Hideyoshi Ando. Additionally, a second season of the Gachiakuta anime is in production following the first season's success. The manga, created by Kei Urana, launched in February 2022 and continues to be serialized.

Revived survival RPG Hytale already has a release date after springing back to life, but the owner is reminding everyone the game ‘isn’t good yet’

Hytale has undergone a challenging seven-year development period and faced cancellation by Riot Games, but the original owner has reclaimed the project to pursue its original vision. Developer Hypixel has released new gameplay footage and announced an early access release date of January 13, 2026. However, they have cautioned players to manage their expectations, describing the footage as "raw and broken" and stating that the game is not yet in a good state. CEO Simon Collins-Laflamme advised against pre-ordering or participating in early access for those who might feel uncomfortable, while content lead Polina Logado reminded followers that it is an alpha release. Necesse, developed by Fair Games, is a top-down survival RPG that has been in early access since 2019. It recently announced its 1.0 launch during the PC Gaming Show, marking a feature-complete state. The update includes a comprehensive overhaul of the game world, a revamped balance and progression system with a new perk tree linked to the Fallen Altar, and the introduction of the Final Incursion featuring new enemies and a final boss. Additional content includes four new secret weapons, 350 new sound effects, and a variety of craftable items. Fair Games plans to continue developing the game with more Incursion-related events, items, enemies, and minibosses, while also considering community feedback. A 50% launch discount is available until October 30, reducing the price to .50 (£6.50).
