Completing Close Threat in Crimson Desert marks the end of the Extinguishing the Last Flames quest. Players investigate suspects and gather evidence to identify a traitor. To complete the quest, players must name one item to support each suspect's testimony and return to Shakatu. After making selections, players return to the Goldleaf Guildhouse, where a cutscene signifies the quest's completion, resulting in a reward of a cape and Contribution points.
