When you copy an item on a Windows PC, it is stored in the clipboard until you copy something new or shut down the computer. The Windows clipboard can store up to 25 pieces of text or images for later use, accessible on the same PC or different devices, including Android phones. You can create a shortcut to clear clipboard history quickly by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting New > Shortcut, and entering the command cmd /c echo off | clip. This allows for swift clearing of all clipboard items.
