PC and Tablet shipments are increasing, with US PC shipments projected to grow by 5% in 2024 and a further 8% in 2025. The growth is attributed to Windows 10's End of Support announcement, leading consumers and SMBs to invest in new PCs compatible with Windows 11. Windows 10 will reach End of Support on October 14, 2025, prompting businesses and consumers to upgrade to Windows 11 for security reasons. Microsoft plans to offer extended support for Windows 10, but at a high cost.
