Science and faith clash as fantasy Civilization 7 challenger unveils its final faction ahead of launch

The Tahuk is the final faction announced for Endless Legend 2, characterized by their devotion and a unique integration of science and faith. They aim to bring back the Sages and utilize the Sacred Oculum, an Endless relic, to channel scientific advancements into various abilities, such as creating 'eternal sunshine' for productivity and using it as a weapon. The game features a dynamic landscape influenced by the Tidefall mechanic, which alters maps and can disrupt the Tahuk council's balance between faith and technology. Gameplay includes deploying devoted followers as missionaries for intelligence and resource gathering, and constructing observatories that can be upgraded into libraries or defensive turrets. The Tahuk favor ranged combat, with their units inflicting an 'illuminated' status on targets, providing tactical advantages in battle. Endless Legend 2 will launch into early access on September 22, available on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and PC Game Pass.
