Game review: Hot Wheels Infinite Rush (PC)

Italian developer Milestone has released Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, which features an open-world environment for players to explore themed islands while racing iconic 1:64 scale diecast models. The game includes various racing dynamics with four vehicle classes—Speeders, Drifters, Versatiles, and Titans—and offers a progression system that unfolds naturally as players explore. On easier settings, the game is more forgiving, while higher difficulty levels provide a challenging experience. The visuals showcase over 150 meticulously detailed vehicles, and there are customization options like a track builder and livery editor, though some features are limited. Local multiplayer does not allow players to roam the islands together.

We test the RTX Spark Superchip in Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra — Nvidia’s Windows on Arm platform impresses in local AI, but gaming isn’t its strong suit

Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang introduced the RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026, which integrates the GB10 Superchip with a specialized version of Windows on Arm for local AI execution. Nvidia collaborates with Microsoft, Dell, HP, MSI, Lenovo, and Asus to create PCs that function as autonomous companions. The platform's local AI performance is assessed using a new benchmark called AgentPerf-local, focusing on completion time for AI tasks. The RTX Spark-powered Surface Laptop Ultra has shown good performance, though it comes with a high price of ,899 for 1TB of storage. The platform faces challenges due to rising DRAM and NAND prices and is still in development, with full software infrastructure yet to be established.

Windows 11 26H2 gave my laptop nearly 2GB of RAM back, but there’s a catch for low-RAM PCs

Windows 11 version 26H2 has been released, resulting in a decrease in RAM usage for many users. Reports indicate that users with 16GB or more of RAM have experienced reductions in idle memory usage, with one user noting a drop from 6.9GB to approximately 4.8GB, and another from over 10GB to about 7GB. However, users with 8GB of RAM have not reported similar improvements, leading to concerns that this update primarily benefits those with larger memory capacities. Personal tests on a laptop showed a decrease in idle memory usage from 8.5GB to 6.7GB after the update. Despite Microsoft's commitment to optimizing memory usage, the 8GB machines have not seen the same enhancements.
