YouTube is giving creators more tools to tackle AI deepfakes

YouTube has launched a likeness detection tool to prevent unauthorized use of creators' images and videos, initially tested with prominent figures and now available to all eligible members of the YouTube Partner Program. The platform is also introducing Ask Studio, an AI-driven chatbot for creators to engage with analytics using natural language. Additionally, YouTube is expanding its auto-dubbing capabilities and testing advanced lip-syncing technology for a more natural viewing experience. An updated A/B testing feature will allow creators to compare different titles and thumbnails to optimize content engagement.

Microsoft is finally giving us a handy network diagnostics tool, but not in the way you want

Windows 11 is introducing a new feature that allows users to check internet speeds directly from the network menu with a "Perform speed test" button. This feature, found in the latest Dev and Beta builds, directs users to a speed testing service via Bing. Currently, users cannot select alternative speed testing services. The speed test feature is part of a broader update that includes enhancements like mobile settings revamp and migration of functionalities from the Control Panel to the Settings page.
