Valve recently launched a new FAQ page on Steam dedicated to players banned from Team Fortress 2, making it clear that game bans are permanent and non-negotiable. A banwave targeted around 16,000 bots on June 27, causing a sudden disappearance of these malicious players from the game. Hundreds of accounts received lifetime bans, VAC bans, and community bans. The TF2 community is optimistic about the game's future following the banwave, with hopes of a major comeback.
